Works with some flaws seasonal disposable use

This piece works from the magnet sealing in the center perspective. Now for the flaws. The Velcro double stick system does not work too well even if you have a clean surface, so I tacked it up with tack nails. The mesh rips very easily. I bought 3 of these and the two I installed ripped at the top seam within 48 hours of use, so if you do not have a delicate touch you will rip these easily. I have reinforced seams with duct tape for mow to get my money’s worth out of them. Definitely not a long term solution, look at this as more of a seasonal use item. Read full review

It's hit and miss. One of 3 were fine, other two very poorly made.

The first one I ordered was OK, fit, mesh fairly straight, hung well enough, magnets pretty good. Then I ordered 2 more and they were almost unusable, mesh not cut straight, did not hang well, magnets did not match for closing. Quality control very poor.Read full review

Open The Door

Great economical solution for doors without screens. I used this on my patio sliding door so I can leave the door open for plenty of fresh air. The velcro tape is not adequate to secure the screen. Requires additional fasteners to work properly.Read full review

Terrible product - waste of money.

Terrible quality.
1. Does not come with full velcro along the entire mesh. You get 10 tiny little pieces that you glue which leaves about 3/4 of the "edging" NOT attached to your door frame - leaving a huge area where insects can creep in.
2. Material is THIN. I feel like this will tear in about 1/5th of the time as my old Magic Mesh door.
3. The magnetic things are awful - they attach loosely like the velcro leaving big gaps in between for insects to go in.
Don't buy - spend another $1-$3 and get yourself a better netting.

You get what you pay for

The screen it self seems to be of good quality. The Velcro that you use lost it's stickiness within the first week. I prepared the surface, the metal frame of the door, by washing it. I can't was the little tacks it comes with because it metal and there's nowhere to nail them in.
It worked great for the first week.

great Idea

Wish I knew about this item last summer so I wouldn't have to suffer from fly and mosquito invasions in my home. Functions well my only complaint that the magnetic hold is not strong enough during windy days. But no big deal I guess , will work on hot summer days. Read full review

Looks Cheap and sags

I purchased this particular screen because it came with more magnets than the others... however, the material JUST FITS my door... and if you hang it snug... the magnets aren't strong enough to stay together. I sags and well, the stickies (only received 8 instead of 12) don't stick very well. I had to use the tacks (and they only give you 6 of those). In all, I'm using it... but only because I can't afford to purchase another. I'm hoping that it will fit better when its unwrinkled.Read full review

It's fine, but not awesome

The mesh works, but there are gaps between the magnets where bugs can still get through. In the ad there is an image of a fabric lip, which I thought would solve this problem, but the actual product does not have this. It was cheap and all the stores are sold out of these where I live, so I am just going to use it to at least reduce the number of mosquitoes biting me every night.Read full review

Light weight, a good temporary fill-in for a screen door.

It was very inexpensive and worth trying The magnets came out in 2 areas but I think I will try to fix it. It needs to have more velcro attachers. It is a good fill in until I buy a screen door, it does keep most bugs out and air still gets in. For the price it was worth it.Read full review

Door bug screens that keep flying insects outside.

The screens may be seconds as the lines in the fabric do not run parallel to the closure joint making it appear as though it is hung crooked. This might account for the reduced price, I bought two for the regular price of one. Product still performs its purpose...stops the bugs. At this price, I would buy again/Read full review
