Not the old fashioned type of mascara. The formula is water and face-oil proof. It is easily removed with warm water, it's the HEAT, not the water that removes it. Sometimes I dont remove it at bedtime, and just brush off any small bits that have come loose from my lashes in the morning, and wear it a second day.
