Nostalgia - Cheap at the price

Being of a certain age I have now got to that time, where I want to revisit some of my favourite albums of the past.

barbra streisand - greatest hits Vol.1 (CD 1989)

The power and yet gentleness of her voice is perfect. The songs are generally love songs and she fills them with such passion it is a joy to listen to.There is something very special about her voice; she has a poigniant sadness that is quite captivating and makes her songs feel real and true to her and not "just" songs.
I did have the cd but it got damaged. I am so pleased i could replace it so quickly because i love to listen to her. Sometimes i just have to sing along and dream i had such a voice!!Read full review...
