The face of evil could be your neighbor.

I have not finished this book yet as I have to take it in pieces to avoid having nighmares. Hoess is a man who was like any many of people of his era. War veteran and a man of patriotic conviction who never shied away from he believes his duty is. This book illustrates how a common man can be transformed into the banality of evil. How a person can compartmentalize themselves to become an architect of a death factory and also have a family man reside in the same person. A person who believes in God and yet ignore the precepts of his religious teachings. This is a scary warning for us all.Read full review

Commandant Of Auschwitz

A very weird life story written by a monster. Nazi's had to be from another planet.

Interesting Read

As grotesque as it may be, it’s very interesting to see the view from a different perspective. Definitely would recommend this book for a prospective historian and/or someone wanting more background on Auschwitz’s history.Read full review
