only had this for a few days but it is working well so far. We found that the vibration setting was the most effective. The dog is still barking when barked at (and who is to blame her) but only one bark - buzzer fires off and she goes quiet. We where a bit concerned at the size of the box but it does not bother Maggie, a terrier, at all. The one thing that could be improved is the actual collar, the instructions say remove all collars and tags but the law requires all dogs to carry an identity disc at all times, so somewhere to fit a disc would be great, I've got round this by sewing a disc on adjacent to the fastener. Stop barking?? Ha fat chance!!

So I bought this because my dog decided he wants to grow small dog syndrome and bark all he likes to window passers. Me and the fiance were getting fed up of it as you do. So my friend and I was speaking and she said 'What about those vibratey collar things'. So I searched all over Ebay and saw this one. Ohh great,the price is reasonable. Not too expensive not too cheap,surely it would be a great product. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!! He barked,it vibrated he carried on...3 days later after trying and trying again. He just shrugs it off. Clix bark dog collar

Brilliant, it actually works!!! Had a barking dog for a few years now and had accepted that it would always be a barker! Within a short period of time ( a couple of days) it stopped barking on hearing the sound. It also works on vibrate. The collar works by distracting my dog. It only has to wear the collar now without it even being switched on! My dog has made the association with the collar and not barking. Didn't work for my dog

Bought this product to stop unwanted barking from my dog, looked at the reviews and made this purchase. Quick dispatch of product. Easy fitting collar (although a little flimsy) with settings - vibrate or sound in response to the dog barking and these can be high or low. All combinations of settings used on my dog was to no avail. It was exasperating to hear my barking dog and a piercing high pitched as well - I think the high pitched sound made things worse!! Vibrates powerful but sound is not loud. It works on one of my yorkies but the other one is not bothered.

I must say that my girl yorkie barks violently when someone knocks but since I tested this device. I knocked on the door and she barked just once and then got a buzz and she ran to the door and barked one more time then ran to her bed. quietening gobby dogs kindly

Wasn't sure if these would work, shock collaers were definately out, I think they are cruel, wasn't sure about the lemon spraying ones either. Thought I would give these a try for my very gobby 3 afghan hound girls and think they are very reasonably priced compared to others. We have a small lane by the side of us where people walk dogs, and they generally have to run the gauntlet of my lot racing to the fence and barking like mad, taking no notice of me telling them to stop. I put these collars on my 2 younger sisters (2 years old) and yes they still run like mad to the fence ready to bark like mad, but they gave one bark each and.... silence! because I guess the vibrating deterred them. I wondered if it was just a "one off" but no, every time they went to go ballistic even with dogs I know they hate, we had one bark and that was it. My partner was very sceptical but even he had to admit we had no manic barking, so in the end had to admit these collars do work or at least they work for our dogs. CLIX NO BARK ANTI BARK DOG COLLAR

We'd tried everything to stop our dog from barking, to no avail, so thought we'd give this a go, as it's not a 'shock' collar, which we didn't want. This product worked from the first time we used it, and now we hardly need to use it at all - just showing our dog the collar works as a deterrent! We've always used it on the low frequency setting, and on the vibration mode, not the sound mode. It's been great, as now the neighbours are commenting that our dog is much better. The only negative is that the collar is too long and he tried to chew the end, so we got round that by tucking it in. Maybe a loop to hold the end down would be a good idea. Works Better Than I Dreamed It Could

We have a Yorkshire Terrier and like many Yorkies he likes the sound of his own voice, but a persistent high pitched yap soon becomes a nuisance. I looked around for solutions and happened across the Clix Collar and thought it was worth a try. His first bark wearing the collar resulted in a shocked look and an instant cessation of barking, he tried barking a while later and shut up after one bark. Two hours later no barks so we decided to take him on the ultimate test - the front garden where he yaps at everyone passing by. Silence - we're so pleased and impressed with this product. We tried the vibration against our skin first and didn't think it would be strong enough to produce any result but we were wrong. The collar is super easy to work - just two switches, one for vibration or high pitched sound and the other for high or low intensity. As our dog is small we did snip off some of the length of the collar so it wasn't flapping about and I estimate it would fit a dog up to medium small size. Some of the collars have studs sticking out of the interior size which I feel would be uncomfortable for the dog but this is nice and flat to the skin and it's not at all heavy even for a little Yorkie. Well worth buying for anyone having trouble shutting their pooch up :-)Read full review
