Cheesecloth lightweight and good quality
The cheese-cloths are of good quality and best value. I bought them for a task and the quality was great for the purpose it served, light and strong. i will highly recommend it to all who need cheese cloth for all kinds of tasks, cheese, butter, yogurt, even infused oil straining, etc.Read full review

Weave too open
It's good quality cotton and there's plenty of it but the weave is a bit too open compared to the cloth I normally use. This resulted in small bits going through the cloth and into the Elderflower cordial I was straining. I had to get some of my old cloths and restrain it. Perhaps if might work better if I double or treble it. Probably ok for things that don't need fine straining.Read full review

Muslin cheese cloth, perfect
I bought this item to use as a strainer when making oat milk. It worked remarkably well and is reusable.
Cannot fault it and if reqired will buy more from this supplier
not what I wanted
I should have looked harder before purchasing this - this is a meter long strip of muslin cloth - I wanted a muslin cheesecloth making bag. the value and quality may well be excellent if what you want is a long strip, but I needed a bag, and had to look elsewhere to find what I wanted.Read full review

Not very strong but fine for straining. Good value..
I use muslin mostly for marmalade and jam making, straining the pips and pith through to maximise the pectin. I found that this muslin is not robust enough and the holes are quite widely spaced compared to others I have used. For straightforward straining it does the job well though. Read full review

Cheap and not very cheerful
Bought this to use as a bouquet garnet to tie up spices into and place into the cooking pot. I've had to double/treble up the cloth as it's not all that strong. It's ok but in future if spend a bit more and buy better quality.Read full review

Perfect for straining home-made yogurt
Order arrived promptly after placing it.
One cuts the strip of cheesecloth to length, then I placed it in a colander over a large saucepan, and then added the yogurt.
4-6 hours later, I see that most of the whey has dripped out through the cloth into the saucepan, running clear yellow, leaving dense greek yogurt inside the cloth.
The yogurt easily peels away from the cloth when I tip it into a container.Read full review

Using it right now!
It's a muslin cheese cloth. Simple. Using it to make halloumi right now. It's a big piece, so I've had to cut it down. Loads to use for other cheeses!

Ideal for making marmalades
Larger than I was expecting so could be cut into two. I use it to make lemon marmalade …. Saves chasing around the pan to find all the pips!

Didn’t do what I needed it for
The cheesecloth isn’t suitable for wine/liquor making....I make sloe gin and the holes in the cloth are too large to sieve the liquid through and left the liquid still cloudy despite multiple straining.
Maybe suitable for jam or cheese but not for making sloe gin !Read full review
