COUPLING SERIES 1
Coupling was the type of show that got over looked when it was first shown because at the time it was billed as the british answer to friends.But i can tell you that its 10 times better and funnier,the writing is slick and not to sickly sweet.The 6 main actors are really likable and each episode is well written,smart and very funny.So don't over look this hidden gem and i'll bet you your sides will be spliting after a couple of episodes.i can't wait to pick up the other series on ebay of course.Read full review...
Excellent first series of this brilliant comedy
I always did enjoy Coupling, a sort of 'Friends' meets 'Cold Feet' especially the scenarios featuring Jeff at his whackiest! I think the first two series were probably better than the last two with the characters still developing.
As I now live and work in Italy and can't get English tv I have to rely on dvds for my entertainment and it's comedies like this that you can't beat.Read full review...
Coupling - Series 1
Forget the hit US show "Friends" See GB's best example of the dating game.
As with most TV comedies, the first episode, where the characters are initially defined, is the best showing. Coupling's first episode here is no exception, yet somehow that magic sparkle seems to resonate into succeeding episodes.

The best season of them all
...and by all I mean every other sitcom too.
This is truly indespensible viewing.
If you love Friends or trash like that then Coupling won't be for you.
Why? Because it is intelligent. There's no system to it; each episode plays with time and narrative and it is this what makes coupling truly great.

Coupling
Cheeky, sexy comedy series you would not want to watch with your Grandma. One of the funniest British TV shows ever.
Great in some places
Whilst the talents of the actors, such as Jack Davenport, are excellent, the show itself is slightly crude. Yes, in parts it is hilarious with things that make you laugh out loud, whilst others make you cringe slightly as they go on and on about the rude parts. You also get the air of them trying, and failing, to be like the series 'friends' but only lasted 4 series. Apart from that I think this is a great DVD which should be watched.Read full review...

An excellent modern British comedy series. This first season is absolutly brilliant, though later series see the replacement of the best character with a waste of space, so best just stick to S1 (and possibly S2 I cant remember exactly when the character was cut).Read full review...
Good program, great cast all round
I had being looking for a series that I hadnt heard of or seen yet, and was looking for something simliar to cold feet and found coupling and although i havent watched it yet, I don't think it will disappoint me. I'm looking forward to watching them all.Read full review...
Very enjoyable British comedy series
Not simply a rehash of the Friends formula but a very good comedy in its own right, I recommend seeking out subsequent series too!!!

This is my favourite TV series. Its excellently written and very, VERY funny. In one word - BRILLIANT...!
