Its not Sunshine's "Golden Raisin Biscuits"
This is a comparison with Crawfords Garibaldi Biscuits and a raisin biscuit manufactured by Sunshine company in the 50's and 60's.
Crawfords' Garibaldi Biscuits taste nothing like Sunshine's Golden Raisin Biscuits. In fact there isn't much taste at all.
Crawford's does not call their product "raisin" anything and there is a good reason why. The biscuit is very dry and contains raisin bits/specks, not a layer of raisin spread through the middle of each biscuit.
Having eaten Sunshine Golden Raisin Biscuits for years during my childhood. Sunshine's product had an ample thin "layer" of raisin spread laid from end to end in the middle of the biscuit. Sunshine raisin biscuits were thinner with a different cookie taste.
In fairness to Crawford's, their biscuit stands alone as its own unique product. Nowhere have I ever read that Crawford labels their biscuit as just like Sunshine's raisin biscuit. Save yourself some money and keep looking for that perfect reproduction of Sunshine's Raisin Biscuits.

Remember the raisin biscuits of the past?
These will satisfy that urge. They are a little dry because the do not use as much of the fruit as they used to. And these are currants, not raisins.
