On receipt of this Crockpot I thought that it was too big but I was proved wrong. The recipe that I was following called for so many ingredients for home made dog food, it filled the whole 6.5 litres. It was heavy to clean afterward but I think I shall be happy to do it all again but not just for the dogs but for us too. Slow cooking the dogs food proved a great success.
