Crucial 1GB DIMM memory
It was bought for an old Packard Bell PC that originally had 256MB of RAM. The Packard Bell PC now works fine 1 1/4GB of RAM, the two differently sized memories work fine together.
This was an excellent purchase.Read full review...

Memory upgrade working perfectly.
I bought this to replace a faulty memory module in my PC, which had been causing odd "illegal instruction" messages and also freezes and crashes. It is paired with a similar module made by Kingston, and has been running faultlessly for some months now. Upgrading from 1GB to the full 2 GB of RAM allowed by the motherboard has dramatically improved the performance of the PC. YOu need to be careful that you buy compatible memory, and don't exceed the motgherboard's RAM limit.Read full review...
I've regained my memory
My 3 GHz Fujitsu is better for the inclusion of this memory. I can now run cubase 1.0 with all my lovely old sounds!!

Memories ahhh!
Its memory, it does what it says it does, it remembers things! I used the Crucial memory website to look up the memory spec for my (old) PC and searched Ebay for a suitable module. Simples! Replaced a 500Mb module with a 1Gb module so Windows XP runs smoother/faster. Now if I were to buy a second one would it run twice as fast? Maybe not!Read full review...

If you have a old motherboard that supports this.
These are the best of older motherboards. The only downside is if your motherboard takes this sort of RAM you might be best upgrading the motherboard to something that supports up to Core 2 Quad. Plus for newer motherboards the RAM is dirt cheap. For example this 1gb Crucial memory here cost me £13. Where if I had a newish motherboard I could get a 4gb Ram stick for the same price.Read full review...
Great value and reliable as always.
I plugged it in and presto, the desktop had more working RAM. PC is so much faster now.
I wasn't sure if I had mixed RAM sizes in the computer, if it would be fine but that was no issue.
Crucial- the dogs B******S
What can you say about memory ?-well first off get a well known brand, always max out your memory for your motherboard and you can't go wrong. This is true with crucial/micron memory.
