If you are installing a SSD in a computer the chances are that you are installing it in an older machine to give it a bit more life and boost the speed. The Crucial drive will do this for you. I don't know how long it will last in comparison to others available but the performance and price is good and competitive. Everything points to it satisfying requirements and lasting as long as necessary. I bought one which will not be more than 50% full so there is a lot of built in redundancy.
