So happy not to have lost steering wheel controls!!
When I fitted an aftermarket radio keeping my steering wheel controls was a must! This product did it all for me, and I love that it incorporates the Ford/aftermarket adapter, meaning I didn’t need to solder/crimp anything! It really was as easy as plugging it in and switching it on, I didn’t need to do any extra setting up on my Pioneer head unit.
The only things I would say are that there is a lot more wiring than the factory installation (I suppose this isn’t avoidable) but the mk6 fiesta seems to have a large cavity to the right of the radio, where I tucked all my cabling. Also, there are some instructions on making the unit work with different brands of head units which could have been much clearer, and took some head scratching to work out what I needed to do. (Luckily it was nothing for a pioneer unit, ‘Zenec’ requires some soldering but other than that it’s mostly cutting connections.)
