Cult of Chucky (Blu-ray, 2017)

The new and different version of "Chucky's highway of Life".

In "The Cult of Chucky" (TCC) there seems to be a lot of changes to the 'Chucky Franchise'. Many people may be unhappy with the change- Think of the original: "The Evil Dead" vs. the (2013) re-make of "The Evil Dead". I found "TCC" to lean towards 'original' and 'interesting'. These changes open up many new avenues for future follow-ups. But much of "TCC" was in a mental institute and that always bothers me. All too often this technique is use by cowardly script writers. But all-in-all there was a very different feel. I liked it because: I looked at it as a 'stand alone' film, not a sequel. The sets, the cinematography, etc.. were great. I did find that the asylum was too white and bland. I enjoyed: "The Cult of Chucky" and felt those who watch it should feel that it's a stand alone film, as opposed to a sequel. But knowing it's history and origins would be useful, though not completely necessary. Read full review

The sixth sequel & still great 👍😎

I have always loved the Child's Play movies & this movie was definitely worth low price I paid and more. I enjoyed the new story it was awesome. The multiple Chucky dolls was excellent and it was cool to have Andy Barkley back as a major role in the film. The death scenes were very well done so I definitely can't wait till the next one especially since Kyle is back now also.. I'm glad to be adding this one to my collection. 💀Read full review
