This is a very good product as it is spirit based and goes into the wood well have used it a lot in old timber framed house will use again. Not good

As I couldn't find on several different sites, Cuprinol 5-Star Complete Wood Treatment, that is solvent based. I thought I'd try out this water based products of Cuprinol instead.

Being water based it doesn't penetrate wood-grain as deeply as it would do with solvent based.

For what it is, it really is very expensive.
