Great coupled to a headphone amp playing 'the cult', 'the sisters of mercy'

Just so everybody knows, this cd player has phones and line out sockets, the headphone output is very low level(crappie=15mW) as I have tried everything to increase the volume, but nothing.I use the line out skt coupled to my headphone amp(which I designed myself) and it rocks.

About what you would expect in a low priced unit

Feels flimsy. The sound has very little bass response but most annoyingly at full blast is seems very low volume. Quite a disappointment. Will pass it on.

I needed a personal CD player to listen to my Spanish lessons and this really does the job. The `below 10 pounds` price is brilliant value. It does what it says at the level I need.
