Quality Strings That Will Definitely Make Your Guitar Unique

Definitely worth your while to buy. These strings are some of the most comfortable strings I've put on my St. Martin Backpacker Guitar. My guitar doesn't have a large body, so when it was time to change the strings on my guitar, I decided to go with this tuning. My guitar definitely brings out the midrange and treble frequencies of the strings, and it sounds wonderful! It is definitely a unique sound, and I'm glad I made the change.

The Nashville pack of guitar strings are basically the high strings found on a 12 String Guitar. When you play a regular guitar along side a guitar with the Nashville pack of strings, you will find that the sound is very similar to that of a 12 String Guitar.

Here are the specs comparing the high strings from the 12 String Guitar gauges to the gauges of the Nashville pack.

EJ38 12-String Phosphor Bronze, Light, 10-47

PL010 E 0.0100 0.2500 16.220 7.360
PL014 B 0.0140 0.3600 17.850 8.090
PL008 G 0.0080 0.2000 14.680 6.660
PL012 D 0.0120 0.3000 18.540 8.410
PL018 A 0.0180 0.4600 23.410 10.620
PB027 E 0.0270 0.6858 26.910 12.210

EJ38H Phosphor Bronze, High Strung/Nashville

PL010 E 0.0100 0.2500 16.220 7.360
PL014 B 0.0140 0.3600 17.850 8.090
PL009 G 0.0090 0.2280 18.580 8.430
PL012 D 0.0120 0.3000 18.540 8.410
PL018 A 0.0180 0.4600 23.410 10.620
PB027 E 0.0270 0.6858 26.910 12.210

As you can see, this pack takes all of the same strings from the Light Gauge 12 String Guitar pack. The only difference seems to be that the 12 String Guitar G String has a gauge of 0.0080 compared to the Nashville pack of 0.0090. Honestly it's not that big of a deal, and it still works either way. It will definitely be a great investment.

Sounding Nashville in Fl. =)

First time ever doing this and I'm very happy with the results and mainly the sound - we learn something new every day. Hmm, who knew of a 12-string sound on a 6-string guitar, it's Gr8!!

sounds better than a new guitar

I play in dadgad and c# g# c# g# c# f and other open tunings I can't tell you how cool it sounds it is like playing with a capo on but better if you need a change this is good as it gets for me . I find something new every time I pick up my guitars now , Martin , Ovation . If you play out of the box this is for you. Read full review

D'Addario EJ38H Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings Nashville Tuning 10-27

The good thing about Nashville Tuning is that it gives the illusion of a 12 string guitar with only 6 strings.

Cheap ant tinny.

They don't have a good tone, and only 2 strings are wound. Maybe that's what you get for 6 dollars.
