The batteries are actual new dewalt and they came in 2 days early. Their charge has been holding up really well too. I use my dewalt 20v drills heavily every day doing remodeling and HVAC for a living. Brand new battery is apparently defective.

Brand new 2023 battery and it only has two lights lit. 24 hours on charger and it still only shows two lights. What the hell?

Not exactly as pictured

While the item is as described, the pictures are somewhat nicer than the actual item. Function is OK, but the decal on the bottom of the battery pack has been peeled away and this exposes a plastic grid screen that you can see the actual battery element through, and while this may help dissipate heat better, it might not be the best if the battery is used in dirty or wet conditions and if you set the tool down on a dirty or wet surface while standing up and the battery is at the base. Also, this removes the factory information and serial numbers found on the decal. Batteries are scuffed and scratched up more so than in the pictures, the pictures show batteries that appear as almost or as new. But, the batteries work fine. If you are not concerned about how they look, and keeping them clean is not an issue but price is the main factor, then you will probably be happy with these.Read full review

Good for the price, needs more power

As most DeWalt items, this is very well made. It is light, charges fast, fits perfectly on the tool. I only wish it had more power. My next battery will be the 3.0AH so I don't have to change batteries half way through the day.

I recommend it without reservations. The only reason for 4 stars, instead of 5 is that it has smaller capacity. Well suited for most users. Read full review

Great Batteries

Dewalt lithium batteries are great batteries. They hold a charge a long time and I like the power indicator on the back, that shows how much power is left. Some of my batteries are from 2013

Good value for genuine DeWalt Batteries

Batteries were brand new dated 2020 and a good value for genuine DeWalt batteries. The 2 A/H batteries hold a charge much longer than the smaller 1.3 or 1.5 A/H batteries.

Dewalt is a quality name.

As long as the name Dewalt is on the battery it is very good quality. If their name is not on the battery I will not buy it even though it looks the same but without their name. The batteries without their name are much cheaper and often half the price so I question the quality.Read full review

Bought the cheaper made for dewalt tools batteries, they would not fully charge and had half the lfe cycle as the dewalt. Don't waste your money buy the original you will be money ahead. Last longer and have more power.Read full review
