I like it

Although I am new with routing but I really do enjoy using it. However I want to still purchase a larger one for bigger bits in the future but for what I am using it for it works perfect.
Like I said I am new with routing but I do like how I can change the speed because I have a tendency to burn the wood and with the Internet, or for me pinterest, shows me how to use that capability on a router. I like how I can see through the plastic base and during darker periods the led light is a great addition. I don't like the fact that I can't put certain bits in it but I guess that's what larger routers are for. The handy bag is nice that came along with it and the other part to the router with the handles I haven't really utilized or learned how to use yet. But all in all, I would recommend this especially for the price.Read full review

Good router, Website misleading

Good trim router. I bought because I heard that the height adjustment on the fixed base works well. And it does.

The pictures on the web site are misleading it shows a fence, guide bushings and tool for aliening them, and a dust attachment for the plug base that are not included.
Those pictures should be removed it is tantamount to false advertising.
That is why only 3 stars.
Had I read the description I would have known that they were not included, and I would have seen if I could have found a better deal.

Little but a mean machine!

The right size and power for the job I am using it for. I have a total of 5 DeWalt routers including 2 3HP ones and 2 1.5 HP with the 1.5 HP reserved for doing nothing but dovetails.....the two larger routers are used on special mortise jigs that I made.

Great router

This is the best compact router I've used. Yes I have others. It's light easy to use. The ability to used both bases makes it my go to router. The led lights are great, on / off switch is in a good place. The plunge base is easy and smooth to use. The micro adjustments are accurate and easy to use. Trim router

I bought a cheap trim router after the baring failed within 30 days, maybe an hour of use.

This router is veritable speed, well balanced, fits and stays cool in your hand. The motor has an attach ring
for fine adjusting that works flawlessly.
The plunge base is an awesome accessory that makes it function like my full size router without the weight or size…

Rock Solid

My first trim router was purchased 20 years ago. It's a Porter Cable. I love it! I was looking for another trim router with a plunge base. I first purchased the Bosch Colt. It was nothing like my old PC. It felt cheap! I sent it back!

Precise, powerful and reliable

DeWalt doesn't stop amaze me with the quality of their tools. This one in particular is a great quality even in little details. Easy to replace bits, easy to adjust height of the bit and change the base. Adjustable speed and LED lights helps a lott is not as noisy as my old one from Sears.
