Best radio I've ever had

Excellent radio. I've heard all the moans about the price, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. It's easy to use. The bluetooth is excellent. So playing your own music, or Apple Music, or whatever, is very easy. Radio reception is up there with the best of them. I've also read complaints about DAB reception, but I've found it every bit as good, if not better than other DAB radios I've had. I can run it off any of my batteries from 10.8v through to the 54v flexvolt. If connected to the mains, I can also charge all the batteries. The sound quality is outstanding. I can highly recommend this radio, but you have to hear it and use it to appreciate how good it is.Read full review...

Dewalt job site radio

Im happy with the purchase of the dewalt job site radio. A bit unsure before purchasing with a few reviewers moaning about stupid issues. Dab working fine, Bluetooth working fine, great sound. I’ve run it off a 5 ah battery for days in the garage and a couple of full days in work no problem, recharging before battery gets a chance to go to low. I’ve been playing from Spotify and YouTube. The Dewalt app is ok, you can adjust volume and change radio stations, still getting used to it! It can be a bit slow or sticky if you know what I mean but still a added extra, I can walk 30m from my garage and still adjust the volume etc, to the annoyance of my neighbours. Plug in with mains adapter or use battery, I couldn’t hear a difference between mains or playing on a battery as some reviewers. Just used on a job and had to reduce the bass as booming , easy touch adjustment to sound. I bought on a 15% off day, with a bit of birthday money, it’s not cheap and was a special purchase but really happy with it. You know you deserve it! As a boys toy I think you should just go for it 😬👍👍Read full review...

excellent standard

coming from a professional tradesman if i say so myself and also a bit of a audiophile this radio has it all ,

fantastic sound both low and mid range , the bass can be felt in your chest in certain situations , gives a fantastic room filling sound with plenty of customisable options , runs from battery both 18 and 54 volt and also charges both if plugged into mains power all while closing the nice little door that can house your phone if needed , has the usual aux in and usb connections too that are a lovely little extra , the dewalt app is a nice interface helping with volume levels and such when the radio isn’t within reach , all round excellent performer and is known on sites as the best radio on the market and the rumours are true !!! Expensive but not disappointed.

I have two of these radios the bigger version & this one. Both sound great, what i like with this model is the app that you can turn it on or off from your phone very handy, when im at work up a pair of steps, if i hear a tune playing on the radio my phone comes out & the volume gets turned up via the app off my phone. It is a expensive piece of kit but anything of dewalt has a price fix, even the old radio models. Anyway whoever buys ond oc these radios - i don't think you would be disappointed, i would not say its light in weight, the charge for the battery - forget using it, you'll be better off using a charger you already have unless you have patience or extra batteries to get the job done as the built in charger takes way toooooo long to charge in my opion but im not knocking it for that.Read full review...

Excellent product

Great sound quality and like the ability to charge both phone and battery at the same time. I like listening to offline pod casts and YouTube stuff. Very easy to do BT and phone.

Great radio

Got this for my new job, used it for one day and advised to take it home before someone stole it 🤬🤬. Great sound, ease of use with the phone app and setup was easy. Only one thing I would of added would be a digital clock.Read full review...

Music wherever you go!

Absolutely brilliant, I can now take music with me wherever I am working, whether I'm in the gazebo sorting out the lighting, or in the garage working on my classic car.
The only negative is the price, but build quality is superb, so glad I took the plunge and bought it, it even integrates into my comprehensive T Stak power tools.Read full review...

Great radio

Radio is worth the buy. Good sound. Only thing i can fault it on is the volume. Running on battery hasnt got the same as running on the mains. But i can deal with that

Sounds great but the price!

Fantastic room filling sound but over priced, its ugly as it looks like a tool box but that is the point. It is after all a work radio. Quality construction loud and easy to use. You will not be disappointed with the sound and the connectivity.Read full review...
