I use it on all my 18v tools and it lasts ages compared to my 5amp 18v battery’s and the tools have improved no more boreing then reversing them boreing to get through tough timber joists it will just power through same on my circular saw straight down the grain of some very tough hardwood and it was laughing at it, some are saying a little on the heavy side but it’s 54v what did you expect. One Big Battery
Its a large battery and heavy so only use it on skill saws or chop saws it's too heavy for a drill, but it is brilliant for heavy work

FLEXVOLT BATTERY 9Ah
This battery seems to last forever compaired to my 5 and 6 Ah batteries one thing wich I noticed was the size, its larger and heavy compared to the flexvolt 6ah battery, looks like dewalt are using larger cells could be the 21700 instead of 18650 but I can't be certain, but if you want loads of power then 9Ah flexvolt is the one to get, I have heard there is a 12ah coming soon from Dewalt that's gonna be just excellent for the table saw and stone cutter plus the flexvolt chainsaw it just gets better.Read full review...

Dewalt 54 v battery
The Dewalt 54 batteries are great when you need the power when first used with 18v dewalt tools but after time the battery will mess the drill and the impact driver up . The drill and impact will work but when used will drop in power as the revolutions spin the drill . A bit like it hesitates and comes back . Dewalt need to create a 54v drill and a 54 impact driver because it does not work with the 18v tools as it will wear out something in the drill . I love my Dewalt gear but this is my only complaint. Flexvolt extractor
Price is high but hooked up to mitre saw/table saw/plunge saw its great. Far better than having to worry about a plug socket.
