This is a beast

This impact wrench easily outprefoms my previos air pwered unit and has busted every thing loose I have used it on. I just used it to remove the blades form a brush hog with a 2" socket. It had to work but it took the nut off. I had tied previosly to break it free with a 2 foot long cresnr wrench and the blade clamped in a vise. I'm 6'2" 220lbs and could not get it to budge but this impact did the trick. So far my experence with this is that the nut either comes losse or it is busted off. Powerful tool, some quality control at factory?

My DCF899 impact is impressively strong and I will be happy with it as long as it lasts a long time. It is substantially heavier than the average air powered impact but it is very handy to not have to drag an air hose around. My unit came with too little grease on the anvil and made horrendous screeching noises out of the package, I had to remove the front cover, grease up the anvil good, and put back together. It has been good since and I will be satisfied as long as it lasts several years or more, time will only tell.Read full review

Awesome! Not for small stuff.

MUCH stronger than my 3/8 impact. This will almost surely replace my air impact. No more dragging the hose around all the time.

BTW I added a MAC tools #PBBWP15 protective boot for the impact and a #PBMB200 boot for the 5Ah battery. And that's a Mac #PBMB201 on the 2Ah battery on the 3/8 impact next to it.Read full review
