This was to replace my old Dewalt impact driver.i had it for 12 years and was a high torque 18 volt model. This model has the highest torque at 205 nm and will easily drive 6 inch screws into wood, I also use it with concrete screws into brickwork without any problems. There are lower torque models from dewalt which are cheaper and would probably be fine for most people but if you want a an impact driver that will tackle any job and live to tell the tale then look no further. A good tool without a doubt _ A little on the heavy side as l only have 5 amp batteries, this might be solved a little with perhaps a 2 amp battery also l have found it a little noisy at high speed.

Should have bought one a long time ago
Tiny unit but has great torque. WIll drive in screws with great ease or loosen nuts using a correct adaptor.
I recommend using good quality driver bits as this thing will easily destroy those cheap bits that come from budget high street shops.Read full review...

Excellent impact driver super powerful and compact , only reason I purchased it was the fact I already own a dewalt 18v drill with two 5AMP batteries that I can use with the driver otherwise would have been out of my price range once you add 2x bat ,charger , case .
