Excellent Embroidery Thread
This is a multi colour pack, so it's excellent for a general embroidery colour set. You may want to get one or 2 colours extra that you use a lit. It's a good colour selection, and the quality is also very good. It's very cute - a few needles are included to get you started. I thought that was super sweet.
I use these for a crafting project: out of old cashmere jumpers make 1 patchwork cashmere throw. Ideal as there are so many colours, and the thickness of the embroidery thread is just what I want. Used some of the thread for the embroidered advent calendar - again very good fit b/c of the colours.

Cross Stitch Thread
I am using this for cross stitch and you have to use 300mm long pieces. If you don't and you use longer thread then the threads will fray and fluff up but it will be okay if you have the thread at 300mm. I only use 2 threads for cross stitch it would not be good to use it any thicker. I bought this huge range because I was after particular colours. I got most of them but I can not get the really dark burgundy - black/burgundy. I have had to use a black permanent marker and used it over dark chocolate brown thread and a burgundy thread for 2 different coloured threads. It works for me!Read full review...

Lovely variety of colours and feels like good quality although I haven't used any yet. They also included a few needles which was great and unexpected, convenient as I was down to my last one.
