Over- Priced and Over-engineered for the job to be done

you dont need such an ove-rengineered reel to cat a long way on big pits. A carp reel is mostly in the rest.
Wychwood do cheaper reels which i have found perfectly serviceable. And dont think the carp in big pits are 150 yards min from the bank either ! Carp tackle has become a fashion statement.I use to catch carp to 30 odd pounds using a Mitchell 410 and 8lb B/S platil line.Fancy tackle may look good but it wont put carp on the bank.Read full review...

absolutely amazing piece of engineering and technology - The perfect reels

Amazing Reels!! I bought 3 2 months ago and I can honestly say, they are hands down the best and smoothest reels I have ever touched. They are ridiculously light and just a beauty to hold. I use the on 10ft rods and they are perfectly balanced for the job. The line lay it unbelievable and perfect cross wrapping for super smooth casting.

Someone put a review saying over engineered and a fashion statement??? Yes, you stick to your Mitchel Match mate... These are an absolutely amazing piece of engineering and technology to make the smoothest reel you'll ever feel.
