great product but hard to replace with Delta Spout

Design of connection is totally different from Delta spout for connection for replacement. Great for new construction only. The service by supplier is superior.

Flexible install; wide flange; clunky

The Danco 10766 is a pull-down diverted similar to the Delta.

It’s a bit clunky when you pull it. A stronger pull than the Delta.

I chose it over the Delta because this one is much more flexible for installation and doesn’t require sweating anything. It can go on bare 1/2” copper pipe, or iron or brass IPS pipe very close to the wall or 4 3/4” from the wall..

I thought I could leave the existing 6” pipe that extended 4 1/4” from the wall but the pipe was too long leaving a gap at the base. I thought that the gap would be easy to fix with a spout flange but the base of this spout is over 3” wide and slightly square. There are no flanges out there that will fit. They are all designed for 2” diameter round spouts. I ended up replacing the pipe in the wall with a 2” that worked with the flush mount.

If Danco redesigns this, it needs to have a 2” round base.Read full review...
