For little more than many places are selling a standard room thermostat you can get programmable one that allows you to set different temperatures during the day and it has a night mode and an out of the house mode. Seems like a good quality product and easy to install. Only issue is it's unusual shape (compared to most other stats) so if replacing a more traditional square one, cables may not reach and / or it may not cover the unpainted area exposed by the removal of the old one.
