Low quality device with extremely short warranty

Had a 4 week warranty and after being fitted for 48 hours stopped working correctly. Can now only leave on wall as have disposed of the old one, which means I have to manually rotate knob 180 degrees to get the heating on. Easy fit set and forget

This was a direct replacement for a six year old unit which was buzzing and failing to switch to demand.
Not sure about reliability we have 9 of these in the house and this is the first to fail.>So this was just the easy and least expensive option.
Time will tell if it was also the best choice.
But for now I can recommend it for its simplicity and easy fitting.
If this is a new installation bare in mind you need a neutral wire at the thermostat.Read full review

Last only 4-5 years before needing to be replaced

These thermostats last for about 4-5 years then need replacing as they start to buzz, and don't work. Their only saving grace is that replacing a broken one with a new one is simple as there is no need to play with the wiring. Otherwise, use another type that might last longer.Read full review

A stat that isn't a stat.

When the stat asks for heat, the house heats up, then it switches off when the temperature is reached.
But then the house temperature drops to an unconfortable temperature before the stat asks for heat again.
I thought it was a faulty stat, but the new one I bought is exactly the same.

Simple Thermostat-Easy to use

Easy to use, simple and does "what it says on the tin". Although this particular model is no longer in production, there are plenty of units still left and with only a three wires installation is an ideal replacement for identical units without extensive rewiring.Read full review
