Great Season of the Series!!

The first season of Daniel Boone I watched was the second season after borrowing it from relatives and I loved it!! Later I bought season one and liked it too, but then I had to own season two. I have now seen the first five seasons and after watching all of them, I believe this season is my favorite!! It has all the beloved characters, Dan'l, Mingo, Becky, Israel, Jemima and Jericho and unlike season one, is presented in glorious color!! I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys Little House on the Prairie and likes traveling back to the good old days when moral, reputation, and hard work were worth something!!!!Read full review...

Fantastic story writing!

Excellent story writing on this show. A great way to live vicariously in a time never known by most of us. A very different way of life yet the themes are so similar to what still goes on today. Highly recommend for all ages who want a history lesson that entertains. At 6 foot 5 inches Fess Parker really makes Daniel Boone look like a big man. And always cool under the most extreme circumstances. The character of Daniel Boone is a solid, inspirational role model even today.Read full review...

I remembered the show when I was a kid (reruns). When a local TV station stopped carrying it I was devastated. When I found it on ebay I well very happy. Wonderful TV show from by gone days.

Unlike modern TV Daniel Boone conveyed exciting shows without cursing, nudity, or sugesstive scenes. Real heroes and not a bunch of people with a victim mentality. All that was good about our country that has muchly been lost in our society today.Read full review...

Watching the epsisodes on the DVDs bring back great childhood memories.
Every time I watch one, it takes me back to when I was young and watching it on TV with my siblings after school.

Daniel Boone Season 2

The second season of Daniel Boone is just a good as the first Season. Fess Parker is excelent as Daniel Boone and the rest of the cast doese a first class job.
