Easy to use and grab hard to reach small items
Product seems fairly robust and easy to grab items. Naturally if you are trying to grab something down a drain hole in my case in the shower. Used to grab women’s razor blade clips that were reducing the flow of water draining away. I suggest you will need a torch as well to see what you are doing. A very reasonable priced item however the push button and finger lugs are plastic. Don't know how they will perform after long use.
Will only be capable of holding onto and extracting very light objects.
Don't believe this is suitable for constant use by mechanic.
There are other very similar items on the market which are all metal. More expensive but still not a lot of money. Some are more practice and fitted with w very small led on the end.

Too large a claw for picking up small items.
The claw is too large to pick up small items like drill bits. It replaces an earlier tool which had a smaller sleeve at the end. This allowed the claws into closer contact with each other at the exit from the main tube, thus allowing it to pick up much smaller items than the item I bought.
The new tool is good for larger items like spanners dropped behind a radiator though.Read full review...
