Excellent Shooter!!!

Pros
+ A unique twist on the 1st person shooter.
+ Being able to use vampire powers, a sweet melee, & a real sense of unloading your weapon on an opponent.
+ Huge multiplayer maps for on or offline play.

Cons
- Driving is not as fun as you want it to be.
- Choosing between good & evil doesn't really explore consequences.
- Trying to find a game online. Host advantage.

Darkwatch has some interesting game elements. This is no basic 1st person shooter. Your team of soldiers is useless but all of your powers make up for it. Jumping is also major fun because you can get a ton of air time. There are quite a few memorable boss fights & rail shooting from your horse. It also has a pretty good story & some nice cutscenes.

Something a little different for me

Something a little different for me NOT speaking for everyone.....

I liked the game when my husband bought it home for me to play i was a bit iffy at first but the more i play and got into it was the more i liked it, it was sort of different for me because of the transportation in most shooting games you always have a car put sometimes riding the horse and shooting was a bit fun for me don't know about any body else.

So by playing this game i went out and bought "GUN" and i like that game also so i mean over all i like the graphics, the storyline and the concept of Dark Watch good game to add to your collection....Read full review...

GREAT GAME

I just started playing my X-Box over the past few months. And I am building my game collection. I saw this game in the store a few times and it is not priced low and when I saw it online for $15 I had to jump on it. I loved the challenge of this game the different aspects of it and the rush. Some of you gamers probably do not feel the same but playing Area 51 and then this I had to relieve some frustration of that game and got hooked on Darkwatch within 5 minutes of play. Just plain old bad

Ever since Darkwatch was released it was one of those games I just had to try, whether people said it was good or not. But I can strongly say that even when coming into this game with an open opinion and open mind about what I was about to experience, this game is horrible. The only thing I can really say I like are the controls. It's easy to aim and the game moves fluidly. However, the story is weak, graphics aren't very good, and it's just boring. You do the same thing over and over. If I were you, I would stay away from this game. Even if you have an open attitude like I did, trust me, it's not good. Spend your money on something else and don't regret buying it like I did.Read full review...

One of the best games ever

This game was awesome, in fact when i first saw it I thought "Oh great another boring, gory, lame vampire game" but once i played it I thought this game was one of the best games ever, sweet guns, cool powers. Oh i also liked the split ending, and how you could choose to be evil or good, I thought the bad guy ending was cooler, but I thought the good guy ending fit better. ya awesome game buy it for a great time, and if you own this game and you're bored go to the level with the ghost town, its better and funner to do this with a partner, kill a regulator and hideout in the buildings killing regulators, and see how long you can last without both of you dying at the same time, very funRead full review...

Vampires In The West?

Darkwatch spins the tale of Jerico Cross, an outlaw looking for his one last big score. Bit by a vampire the race is on to cleanse his soul or meet certain death. This first person shooter offers a good storyline, good grapics, XBOX Live and gameplay but sadly that's it. With a serious lack of side missions and upgrades it's hard to give the green light for the retal price. Definitely one of the better vampire shooters but if that's not your thing it's better left as a rental at best.Read full review...

Xbox video games are the best due to the mature content and way the story unfolds along with the graphics. Sheer blood and guts and kill everything that moves is the way i enjoy my xbox. I beleive in the "ratings" system and also parents should monitor the games their childern play. I know the difference and enjoy the non-reality based games against all odds.Read full review...

Cowboy Vampire Action Games Are Fun

And this is the only game like it I have found. The action is terrific and the graphics are awesome. The sounds are perfect for this game. I can't stop playing this one until I see what happens next. The story line is very interesting because you are ultimately trying to stop yourself from becoming a vampire...or are you. You choose your path along the way.
