Simple, works brilliantly
This a great piece of kit. So easy to use effectively, and it does exactly what it says on the tin(packet). I've now sharpened many of my kitchen knives - I felt it was necessary to warn the family how sharp the knives are now - plus two pairs of secateurs. It is particularly good on curved blades, and so much easier than dragging a blade through the old-fashioned sharpening wheels which take off far too much material and can leave a jagged edge. HANDY SMALL SHARPENING TOOL

Yes it sharpens and cleans up secateurs nicely. however the flimsy plastic handle snapped when using it in very cold temperatures. There are much better buys as double sided credit card diamond sharpeners which are stronger and more versatile.Read full review...

Not up to the job
I personally found this item useless it made my sacerters blunt I did follow the instructions.
To my mind it was a waste of money. I should have brought a sharpener like my old one the type that had a fingers protector on and two blades that you pass the tool through types I can recommend.
