Actually not as good as the first one

This was the version of Daytona USA that came along after the original Saturn version to address some of the graphical issues and add the 2 player mode that was missing. Well, they did accomplish all of those things, but in the process they sort of killed the gameplay. This one does not drive nearly as fluid and is quite bothersome when you've attached yourself to how incredibly accurate the controls were in the turns and floating of the original. For what they took time for in graphics supremacy they let go in gameplay. Just for that reason I avoid this title except for the original release. I would rather watch the draw-in and play a game that was a dead ringer on arcade control the way the ported it the first time.Read full review...

Retro-Active Gaming at its Best

If your looking to continue the legacy of playing old-school games everyone should pickup a Sega Saturn first off. Second no matter what the cost, start collection old Sega Saturn games you'll find yourself immersed in a world of fun and nostalgia for endless amounts of hours.

I picked up Daytona USA Circuit Edition because this is the best version of the Sega Daytona USA series. its kinda like an RPG but with Stock car Racing. This games is the first games to start the tradition of car damages and performance and handling damage. so drive carefully avoid the walls and win the circuit its a great deal of fun. But most important get a Sega Saturn its a very under rated console that failed in the US because its an arcade emulator! All I can say is GET ONE! - then as a gamer be sure to look for the games on ebay and then go on You Tube and watch the game play of it if it looks good enough to watch than you can only imagine how awesome it is to play!

Classic arcade game ported to the Sega Saturn

Great game ported to the Sega Saturn. Definitely would recommend getting a steering wheel to bring home the whole arcade experience. Sounds and looks exactly like arcade version. Excellent selection of courses to choose to race at. Nice to choose from difficulty in options menu. Only downside is you can only race against one other human racer besides yourself. All and all a good game if you can pick it up at a good price and are a fan of this type of sega racing game.Read full review...
