It's not amazing that's for sure.

I thought the newer tech would be amazing. It's not better than my old DeWalt SDS. It doesn't feel as powerful. It's about the same weight except for the battery. If you have to upgrade then do but if you're happy with old drill then stick with it would be my advice.
