Tarantino does it again, you can't work out where it is going for the first half of the movie then in true Tarantino style it completely turns on its head. Starting with the most erotic fully clothed lap dance you have ever seen then the sickest action scenes this is a truly brilliant movie with a stunning soundtrack to match. The aged effect gives this movie that 70's grind house feel and all the little things that link Tarantino movies are there. I really LOVE everything about this film. Its a proper girls girl film. What i appreciate about it mostly is that Quentin Tarrantino highlights the issues of society in which we are placed in, being that women are treated like simple creatures which can be easily manipulated and more importantly are easy targets, and men are sexual predators.

But those roles can easily be reserved simply because these are just steriotypes. Curt Russels character is a simple steriotype of a typical macho-female sex predator who butchers women for sport but he doesnt expect that women CAN infact have the initiative to fight back (even without some flash death proof car) and HE GETS OWNED.

ITS A HILARIOUS film, and i recommend watching it. I watched it at my friends house and i just wanted a copy so badly. I already own Plannet terror released jointly with this film and both are extremely clever with excellent dialogue.

A very cool film for mopar lovers and car chase guys

Well i bought the film because i love old cars ,and the dukes of hazzard check out the dodge charger ! just like the general or the charger in cult film the gladitor ! which realy did destroy 5 orignal general lees .The film is slow going at the start but after they leave the bar it gets going great car scenes the chevy looks superb ,it has a secret the dumb chick finds that out ,wear seatbelts ! then the evil charger kicks some but it never turns out that way excellent soundtrack hot chicks mopar versus mopar excellent .Read full review...

You either understand this film or you don't.
If you're the kind of person who'd be impressed that one of the cars used to kill people wears the same licence plate as the Mustang in Bullitt, or the final car chase is effectively between the Dodge Challenger from Vanishing Point and the General Lee then you'll love it like I did. Great soundtrack, sharp script and lots to look at.

On the downside Tarrantino does seem to have a fetish for women's feet and the plot, apping in the best B-movie tradition there is no plot to speak of but there is one of the best car chases ever filmed - no computer graphics or under cranked cameras - the stunts are real.Read full review...
