Tarantino's worst
I can't understand that QT made this POS after Pulp fiction and Kill Bill. Promising characters and cool action scenes is ruined by a ridiculous and boring plot. 2/3s of the film is incoherent dialogue between young girls, which do not bring the story forward. The police gives up and quits following the killer. The basis of the last car chase is utter bullshit. The only reason to spend two hours watching this is to complete the Tarantino canon.Read full review...

Gruesome, funny and entertaining.
Typical Tarantino .Made to look amateurish and crappy and that just adds to the overall feel. Some parts are gruesome, some very funny, some plain daft, but always entertaining.

Slasher on Wheels
Stuntman Mike played by always reliable Kurt Russel gets his kicks by stalking groups of foxy chicks and ending their lives at speed with his 'death proofed' vintage automobile.
Cut to 14 months later,a different state,a different set of targets and an altogether different approach.
This time round the girls are tough and fiercely independent.
Unfortunately this second segment is more anemic than the first one.
However the last twenty minutes are worth checking out for the fans of tire squealing and burnt rubber.
The final car chase is simply incredible and adrenaline filled.
In the prolonged chase sequence through deserted roads Tarantino expertly captures the raw cinema of the 70s.
"Planet Terror" is more fast-paced and a lot more gorier, but who cares.
"Death Proof" will bring the smile on the face of any self-respecting road movie enthusiast.Read full review...
Deathproof
Not Tarantinos best film but not a bad one.Kurt Russell does a fantastic job as stuntman mike. The crash scene is very graphic and not for the squeamish.
Death Proof review
Having seen the trailer i had to get this film, the movie starts a bit slowly for the 1st half an hour but once the high speed action starts, it develops into an exhilarating movie, featuring some great stunts and an 18 minute american muscle car duel, Kurt Russell puts in a excellent performance behind the the wheel of his 'death proof' car as a sociopathic stuntman stalking young ladies, an entertaining movie as you would expect been directed by Quentin Tarantino.Read full review...
