Bad Controls, Horrible Camera and overall subpar

I couldn't wait to get this game after I saw the trailer and read about it before it was released. I bought it at release time, and put the game in the system. The beginning FMV started and it was good. Good enough to make me look forward to the game experience. I played the game from start to finish. But I have to let you know, that overall this game is not good at all. Even my initial excitement couldn't make me forget about the bad controls, horrible camera, poor design, buggy environment, and overall crap. When I finished the game, I was just glad that it's over. And now that I think about it, maybe I should have just stopped playing it and wasting my time. But then, I kept hoping somehow if I kept playing the game would redeem itself. Yet it didn't. The bright side is some of the enemies look very creative. Soooo all-in-all if you have extra time, and no other game to play you may want to rent this game or pick it up in the bargain bin. But be warned, that the game is not that great... I give it a 2 out of 5.Read full review...

not very good

terrible game play, terrible graphics.
i've played it complete, and it's fighting all those monsters and dragons that keep it interesting, but frankly the way it looks and how you play it it's very dissapointing. kind of like Tomb Raider visual quality, and game play, but probably even worse. now that i think about it, it's probably the same.

buy it if it's cheap only; you'll probably play it only once or twice. i played it 1 and a half times. if the graphics had been done a little bit better, it might had been more interesting, but they're terrible.

Been waiting to get it for 15 years, it’s everything I wanted in play. Each level is different with new demons and monsters to fight. I’m 75 and love it.Deathtrap

death trap dungeon what a good game i think they made death trap dungeon before they made the 1st tomb raider because it plays so much like except death trap dungeon is set in like the med-evil times and tomb raider is set in like now i love them both i really like death trap dungeon cuzz im into the mid-evil stuff like that if u love the 1st tomb raider game get the death trap dungeon game buy them at the same time u wont be sorry//// whitespider35@yahoo.comRead full review...

really fun and engaging gameplay

I played this game through to the end over fifteen tears ago and it is a fantastic game, it is a little hard to get used to the mechanics of the character at first but once you get used to that it becomes second nature, I bought this again because it really is a unique game and is a lot of fun to play.Read full review...

Playstation 1 game. Death Trap Dungeon

I love the fact that it was only .99 cents. So I thougth, why not. its only .99 cents. its not a big loss if I dont like it.

Great Piece of gaming from my youth.

Was glad to get this piece of my gameplaying "youth" back again. A fun, pretty simplistic game, and glad it's part of my library again. Thanks again.

deathtrap dud

tried it on ps3 60gb. plays ok but sound does not work not sure if it the game or the ps3 console. I play alot of ps1 games without trouble so it might be a bad dosc

Have not gotten to play this yet. We did not know that playstation one memory cards were needed when playing on a ps2 system. When we get the new memory cards we will leave better reviews.
