Superb underwater movie
Deep Blue Sea is an amazing film. Based around the story of a secret experiment on sharks to see if they can make them smarter, as practice for a cure for alzheimers. The sharks do get smarter, and escape!

Great Story Line, Packed with None Stop Entertaining Viewing!
This Film is about a Research Laboratory out in the Deep Blue where Sharks are captured to develop a Potential Cure for Alzheimer's Disease. With this research there comes a Fearful Side effect where the Sharks become Smarted and Meaner than Ever!
Its a case of you can Run but you can't Hide for these unfortunate researchers.
Move Over Jaws, this Film is Fantastic!!

Deep Blue Sea ( Sammuel L Jackson )
Not fantastic but not bad either, but still one I would watch a couple of times. has some nice shark scenes, watch out for the shocking shark feed that takes you by surprise!
story can be slow at times but hey , most movies can be like that.
still I would still own it for the realistic shark looking animatronics.
the extras are fantastic especially making of as this is what made me realise that the fish were not real at parts. can't work out which are real and which were fake. Above average movie worth a watch. great value to buy on ebay!Read full review...
Deeply exciting
A story not unlike jaws with a twist. A group of scientists are trying to harvest a hormone that sharks have in their brains which is supposed to cure alzemias victims. Unfortunately, due to genetic tampering the sharks are soon to turn on their masters but why. great shark movie !
ive loved this film since it came out when i was just 12 or 13 , great effects funny humour , and not forgetting the legend that is samuel l jackson gettin eaten like a big mac! what more could you ask for , none of them fake looking sharks like you get in some cheap monster movies eg... mega shark vs mega octopus ?? WTF deep blue sea has the same guy who made the snake for anaconda 1 the only one worth a mention ,

Deep Blue Sea
If you liked Jaws or posiden, then this is a film for you. It may not be as good as those originals but it stands out on its own as a solid action/thrill ride. There are parts which are incredibly suspenseful, sharks are one thing but smart sharks...big trouble. I would recommend checking out if you like the big dumb type action/thriller, its predictable but In a good way, and the one liners are funny in parts. The Jaws of the millenium!
Firstly the model sharks are fantastic they look extremly life like, each one can swim with its engine. Every shark on the film that isn't animated is a model! The special affects are decent however sometimes the shark affects are poor! This film is defiantly the best attempt to follow Jaws so far. LL cool J acts decently and so does the gawmless Tom Jane. The gore isn't too dramatic since 50% of its animated.
The plot is based around an underwater facility where genetically enginered sharks escape, eat, flood the facility and try to escape into the ocean. A peticulary good and ironic part of the movie is Samual Jackson's speech/epitaph!Read full review...
Sharks with brains YIKES!
If you liked Jaws,then you will love this.The model sharks are a bit iffy but on the whole it is a very good film with some good performances from the actors.
It is about scientists creating super intelligent sharks whilst carrying out research into alzheimers disease.

Not such a bad film ,seen better but seen worse
Bought the dvd and just on the same day the film was on the tv, how spooky was that, but anyway seen it was ok film and now it seems to be my turn to sell on Ebay.
