Dekalog Review.

Superlatives abound when describing Krzysztof Kieslowski's The Decalogue, a series of 10 one-hour dramas originally made for Polish TV. Each episode is inspired by one of the Ten Commandments of the Bible, though they are not Sunday School fables illustrating some simplistic moral lesson but deeper more subtle tales. Kieslowski examines ordinary people and the inner humanity of his characters.

Each episode is self-contained, and can be seen in any order.My recommendation is to watch one at a time instead of in a marathon sitting. Allow each episode to permeate your psche and contemplate its deeper significance. Highly recommended.Read full review...
