I'm impressed!

I bought this 23” monitor to replace my Dell 19”, and first impressions are, wow what a difference! Not that my old 19” Twisted Nematic (TN) panel was lacking in performance in any way, I immediately noticed a marked improvement in clarity, brightness, and sharpness from my 23” In Panel Switching (IPS) screen.

TN and IPS screens differ by the way they display an image, I'm not going to go into the technicalities of this difference but the end result is that an IPS screen can be viewed from a wider angle without the image becoming washed-out or faded as is typical to a TN screen.

IPS screens tend to give a brighter image and more vibrant colours when compared to their TN counterparts. Dell have done an exceptional job in bringing this IPS panel to the budget end of the market.

The usual Dell refinements are there, such as height, title, swivel, and pivot adjustable stand, along with good number of inputs for future-proofing ones purchase.Read full review...
