Works great, but batteries are hard to come by
It works great, but finding good AAAA batteries is tough, and the button cell batteries it needs are no longer made. Additionally, Linux support for the extra Bluetooth features does not exist.

Solid pressure-sensitive stylus but lacking many convenience features
INFO: purchased for use with a Dell Latitude 5290 2-in-1 PC (Surface clone)
PROS: solid and robust, good tip (non-scratch smooth with a little friction), pressure sensitive, easy to pair, easy-launch button for a few apps (ScreenSnip, OneNote), one flat side (so doesn't roll away easily), lash point for tether
CONS: finicky button-cell batteries, no 'eraser' on top-end, tip overhangs body of tablet when magnetically attached (so pen easily snagged and detached from PC), no clip (for securing in shirt/jacket/pack, pocket)Read full review...

Excellent Pen Choice for a 7200 Series Latitude Tablet
This pen has a nice feel to it. The barrel button is sometimes difficult to find in reduced lighting because the pen is gray and the button is nearly flush with the pen. I use it with a Latitude 7200 tablet running Windows 11. I haven't had any issues with the combination. I use it with OneNote mostly and to make free-form diagrams in Paint 3D. I'm no artist, so I can't say how useful the pen is for drawing intricate art. But with the right software, it should do fine. For everyday business use, it's excellent. I like that it has a firm magnetic attachment. It takes a lot to pull it off.
Download the user manual from Dell support: "Dell Active Pen - PN557W" It lists the replacement battery numbers and has much more useful information about the pen. The quick start guide in the box doesn't offer much information.Read full review...

Good pen - Does what it is expected to do
Solid feel and works most of the time. It might just be me but sometimes the functions of opening note and so on don't work but I don't really use that function that much.

cannot get it too work right.
It works part way, the rest does not work, will not let me draw or write, maybe I'm not doing something right, I don't know, but this is my third stylus, and it will be my last.

poor quality
Broke almost immediately after using the first time. I've had the real version and it does not break internally that fast. The nub just popped internally while I was writing and now it doesn't work.

Good quality
It's good, but a little hard to learn how to use.

Saved the day!
My son lost his stylus for his school computer. This stylus is the exact model he required and worked right out of the box. Thank you!

So much better than the 556
I got this pen for my Dell 7275 as the active pen PN556w was having connection problems. This one works great with no issues.
