probably as its so much better than what it replaced, and the stand with its easy multi adjustable positions, is great for different users and types of viewing.
well made, looks good, and easier on my eyes.
the built in usb hub is good, its best to connect up cables to the usb sockets in advance as they're not easy to get to.

Excellent companion for MacBook Air

Ultrafine with a colour calibration certificate. Has DisplayPort & a USB 3 built in hub so I can use my MacBook Air with it either open or in Clamshell. Decent height adjustable bracket & it can even rotate to portrait if required. Small bezels weren't a thing for me but it actually does look very smart. Two could be mounted close side by side with a VESA mount. The monitor does not have speakers but does have a sound-card so can drive powered monitor speakers. On the Mac the soundcard is recognised but MacOS can't control the volume so you have to tough it out with the actual volume on the speakers. No biggie for me but might be an issue for specific use cases. Read full review

Excellent colour straight away.

The colours are calibrated in the factory and they need just the merest tweaking to achieve near perfect results from a monitor at this price. The brightness required toning down a bit, but that was done in seconds. I'm a photographer who needs accurate colour, and the few images that I have uploaded to Alamy so far since receiving the monitor, are pretty well spot on. The 1920X1200 resolution is an added bonus when editing. A lovely monitor to use. So far it is perfect for my needs. Read full review

Love the 16:10 aspect ratio and small bezels

I love the aspect ratio and small bezels on this screen. we have the Dell U2412M before these screens, which offered the same aspect ratio, but bigger bezel. The smaller bezel allows us to put the screens closer together in a multiscreen set up.Read full review
