Very Impressive Planer!!!

I received this planer on 08/13/2018 and have used it over a half dozen times already on Oak boards. I tested it on the first board and checked the thickness from side to side on each end and in various places in the middle with a set of Vernier Calipers to see how accurate the cut was.
To my surprise, the deviation anywhere on the board, Four Feet in length and 5-1/2 inches wide, the difference was NOT more than .003 anywhere I checked.
I am completely impressed with the factory calibration and the finish, well, a little finish sanding would be in order if I were making high dollar furniture, otherwise, it is good the way it comes out blades and I won't be doing much sanding at all.
At 9400 RPM and a very smooth feed, I can't be any happier with it. This planer is the best I have ever operated to date and I am a retired Master Machinist.Read full review

Very pleased

A real work horse

this was amazing right out of the box, I was worried about it having only 2 blades, however it did a real smooth job. I would highly recommend it. I used it to plane over 100 2x6x8 boards and could feed it one right after another. I also planed 12 inch boards. Read full review

Using for hardwoods

Planing hardwoods down, mostly pecan, very little snipe, using right out of the box. I like the lightweight, big reason I got it. Has an interior rattle, that I need to track down, that should not be necessary. At this date I would buy again. Hope I don't need the 5 year warranty. Read full review

Taking the highs and lows out of my life.

Great so far. Have used it to true up relatively small pieces of wood.
Be careful feeding/removing stock, sometimes you create a low spot (dip).
Don't be a dip. Let the machine do the work.
