Demolition Man (DVD 1999)

An excellent film - tremendous entertainment with futuristic escapism. This is well-liked by all the family; there is a lot of comedy/light-hearted moments in this film. An inspired mix of high-octane action and futuristic satire, which kicks off in the 90s with LAPD cop Stallone doggedly pursuing psychopath Snipes. When a hostage situation goes wrong, the pair are cryogenically frozen but, when Snipes thaws out 40 years later and goes on a spree, Stallone shakes off his icy coating and chases him through the new peace-loving world. Demolition Man

Both action film characters are brilliant together. Not only do you get the action but some comedy thrown into it. I suppose the best film to compare it to is 'Face Off.' You have the good guy constantly hunting down the bad one!
