An Excellent Receiver

Initial availability was an issue due to the computer chip shortage. Finally, purchased this receiver to help run my friend's 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos 4K Home Theater system with Monitor Audio In-wall and In-Ceiling speakers with Klipsch subwoofers. Runs the 8" drivers really well and they sound good even without the two 12" subwoofers turned on. The setup was easy and it is all plug and play. Had issue with handshake between the Sony UBP-X700M which upon troubleshooting was the player's issue. Exact replacement had no such issues. Being able to play music from apps and youtube on the iPhone using the bluetooth was very nice. The multipoint calibration/equilibration took some time to complete but was easy to complete and it helped with the performance. Had to repaet after the HT furniture was moved into the room. Sounded even better with rugs on the floor and couches in the room. Hooked up the X-Box for the kids and they had no complaints either. Using Optoma UHD38 4K Projector with a 150" screen. Switching inputs was easy but displays with a little lag time. Has a lot more features that majority of us will not use. Buy it and enjoy it.Read full review

Unusable unit.

This unit came in what looked like an unopened box--and it may have been. However, the entire left side of speakers didn't work. We live in Costa Rica and had it shipped to a US address from which we lugged it back. Needless to say, replacement parts don't exist in Costa Rica and we ended up with an expensive boat anchor.
