last month i bought what they said light brown henna, i thought nice to cover my couple of gray hairs between my beautiful long brown hair . After i washed out the henna (it was indigo +henna ) my hair was totally black with a reddish glow and
when i saw myself it did look awful so i tried everything to get rid of the black indigo color but it didn't work at all ,till i read about this. .First i washed my hair with the clarifying shampoo then i dried it completely before i put on the Color Oops (be care full with the eyes) .I wrapped my head in plastic and left it for 2,5 hours .I did that because i know how difficult it is to get rid of indigo .So it was very exciting to wash it out .The most important thing from the Color Oops treatment is too wash it out for half hour minimal .I did wash it between that time 3 times with clarifying shampoo too and afterwards a i mixed a couple of eggs with organic lemon conditioner and left it in for 2 hours and now my hair is not black anymore but brown with stil a red glow but i think if i use the other box i bought i will get of that tooRead full review

Everytime I dye my hair red or black, I use this to remove it and it always brings my hair back to blonde, I really enjoy using this product. I put leave in products and soak my hair after using this for about a day and it helps remove the smell, I always tend to get rid of it in 2-4 days. :)Read full review

Removes color you did not intend

It has removed the black dye from my brown hair. The dye was light chestnut but made my hair very black. This takes work but when a dye turns out to be what you did not expect it is a problem and this product will come to your rescue. For two weeks before using this today I used GK shampoo which opens the cuticle. My hair is light to medium brown again, soI am happy.Read full review

Removes even old dye!

I have colored my hair too many times this year trying to cover a black dye I used in January. I did some research on how to remove old hair dye and discovered color oops. My hair is now a shade of strawberry blonde that I tried to color it over the spring. I was very surprised at how much lighter my hair was. I am a natural brunette but my hair is several shades lighter then even that. The only thing I did not like was the smell. Pure rotten eggs. And it stays in your hair for a couple washings. Aside from the smell my hair felt very soft and conditioned after removing all of the product. I highly recommend color oops if you have also made the mistake of coloring your hair too much! Again it will even remove black hair dye. But if you’ve had it any shade of blonde recently that is what it will leave. Which works for me because the strawberry blonde is what I wanted. love this product. used it many times over the years. i love coloring my hair and have touched mainly every color there is and this product has helped me prep for the next big thing.

Works well if you've only put on one layer of boxed color on your hair

People have the wrong idea about this product. It's really for if you've only used a small amount (like one box of color) on your hair, not for years of color unless you do like 3 cycles of this which I have done and it still works really well as long as you follow up with a light blonde color and a toner. Ruined my hair
