The three speed selector and variable speed trigger is useful if your determined to keep sound below 85dB. The battery fitment is super janky, with black rubber coming off onto the battery, super jank:/ The tool also has that east stink of faint vomit and sewage, even though it was assembled in Mexico, the plastic and rubber were manufactured in China, and they reek. Great DeWalt Oscillating Tool Kit bag with two blades, sander, & 2 AMP battery!

Came with (2) cutting blades- one for metal and one for HCS (high carbon steel) that are great for plunge and flush cuts in a wide range of non metallic materials, including softwood, hardwood, particle board, plywood, fiberglass, and nearly all plastics including Plexiglass. Also, there is a sanding pad holder/pads and depth gauge stopper (to not cut deeper than intended). The LED is useful in highlighting the cut lines while wood debris is being thrown around while cutting. 2 AMP battery is nice in this pkg vs. the 1.5 AMP battery that comes with the basic tool itself. I just used it to cut off nails and baseboards and it has done so quickly and with ease. Battery position allows the tool to stand up or lie down on the ground. I'd recommend this tool at this price point to any DIY'er.Read full review

Good product but need more.

Pros: A DeWalt product is a good product and takes a beating. Good weight and balance. Good power.

Con: All DeWalt products have this flaw. The printed directions are "verschicht". In fact, they don't exist.
I just bought a DeWalt battery powered drill. How do I control the light? I dunno. How do I control speed and torque? Not sure. Other is not advised. How about an on line manual or something? It isn't over until the fat lady sings guys. We want to get the most out of our tools. And flush the 43 pages of safety concerns and tell us how to use and optimize. Read full review
