Plenty of Bite, but subtle when needed

I bought this pick up to fit in the neck position alongside an original 80's Super Distortion at the bridge as part of modification works to a 1984 Ibanez Roadstar II. Given the difference in age, the balance is very good. This pick up has plenty of drive, but responds very well if you back the guitar off, so ideal for someone who likes some light and shade. That respect it's similar to what you might expect from the ibanez JS series pick-ups. Has quite a tubular sound but with quite a bit of top end when driven.
I had this fitted by someone who does my guitars, and he had it in a working quickly and easily.

A powerful, but controllable pick-up with good build quality and at a very reasonable price is my opinion.Read full review
