A friend of mine was wearing these as an "emergency" pair of glasses. I tried them on, and surprised with the result, purchased my own. My wife who has an astigmatism, tried them on as well, but could not get find the "perfect" setting. I am near sighted and can see clear to about 1 ft, but closer than 6 inches, it blurs again. I am a small toy hobbyist, so detail is a must. With these glasses, I can dial in how near or far I want to have clear vision, so I can work on that detail. These glasses DO NOT magnify. They just allow you give adjustment to your focal length, but do it remarkably well. Like I said before, in a pinch, my buddy used them as a temporary pair of replacement glasses. Good Idea....but.

The idea of a adjustable glasses it great but, it shorts in some points...
works great for people who wanted a fast glass replacement with a simple visual problem, the material is really weak and cheap for the price. the inner glasses are difficult to clean and the dial nubs with the time become loose. not to used for driving at night double glasses reflect the car beam lights.
If you want a replacement glasses for use at home, this could be good for you if you find it a good price.Read full review

I am surprised

A friend told me about these. Skeptical? You bet. I was truly surprised when I tried them and they work. I am nearsighted and need reading glasses as well. These work fine in all respects. I can even drive with them. That being said, if they do get dirty, and all glasses do, the inner lens may be tricky to clean. I do not recommend these in a real dusty environment. good idea for some people

one eye could adjust and see very good, the other eye stayed very blurry no matter what I did, it would not adjust for the second eye. I should have sent it back, but decided to see if someone else could use them instead. very good idea though, I wanted to use them when I did sewing and threading needles.Read full review

Do not waste your money like I did.

This product does nothing for the customer. it was tested on several eye glass wearing family members and came nowhere close to being usable. Also like many other reviews have stated, one of the lenses comes with a bad scuff mark on the surface but that surface is between the two lenses so it is impossible to reach the scuff to buff out without disassembly. i had to disassemble in order to reach the scratched surface and it is now not possible to reassemble. do not waste your money. A very BAD PRODUCT.

They do not work like there suppose too. The nose peace is very sharp. It does not have a rubber or plastic peace on the nose guard. I would never buy them again. I am sorry. But they are nothing like the TV says they are. DO NOT BUY THEM.Read full review

A Godsend for Diabetics!

If you are like me and have had laser surgery to thwart eye bleeds from diabetes, these things are THE BEST. Since I have reduced peripheral vision anyway, I don't really notice the edges of the inner lens like a lot of reviews talk about. They can be adjusted for both long distance and reading. Once you adjust for long distance, you can keep them there. I do wish they were constructed a little better, they are a little flimsy, but for what they do, it makes up for it a hundred fold.Read full review
