Great addition to my digital layout
The DS64 arrived defective. Three of the four outputs did not work. I called customer support and got immediate help. We confirmed that it was defective. I returned the unit to Digitrax for repair. They honored the warranty. The turn around time was one week including shipping both ways.
The repaired unit works better than advertised. I can operate multiple switches and associated signals off one output. All you need to do is add a snap relay to run the lights. I am so pleased that I ordered another DS64. By the time I get finished hooking up my switches for turnout control I will have at least 4 DS64s installed on my layout. Read full review

Good product for turnout control
I've only used two of these devices, both for controlling snap turnouts (both code 83 and code 100 Atlas turnouts), so can't talk to using them for stall-motor type turnouts (e.g., Tortoise brand or other) yet... I've used these for turnout control via the throttle, and also maintaining a manual switch control in parallel using the inputs on the DS64 and a pushbutton switch to activate. Programming is rather straightforward following the instructions in the manual. Like these a lot and will continue to use them where I need them.Read full review

DS64
It is not entertaining it is a working switch decoder which will handle 10 turn-outs. Four switches have turn-outs at both ends.
