Great solution for older locomotives.

This decoder is ideal for upgrading some of my older locomotives. I've even installed it in a "DCC-Ready" Kato F7. For anyone who isn't afraid to do a little soldering, it's a snap to install. The hardest part is the frame modifications that are needed on some engines.
Don't expect sound effects and fancy lighting control from this using. It is strictly for speed control and head/tail lighting. As such it does a great job!Read full review
